At Creative Continuity we use special printing processes and materials which allows us to produce custom printed flooring by printing any image onto a high specification PVC floor. This versatile material allows your imagination and creativity to run wild with creative flooring. The application is virtually limitless and when it comes to visual content and floor graphics, printing is what we do! We can literally insert any image as a floor graphics.

A few ideas of floor graphics for printing include; line drawings, illustrations, full colour images, photographics, crests or logos. Floor graphics can transform underutilised spaces into welcome areas consisting of just about anything, from a pebbled surface, to a garden of wild flowers. This type of decorative flooring provides maximum impact and theatre.

Other custom printed flooring and creative flooring projects we have worked on, which have transformed typically dull spaces include the ‘sandy beach effect’, a funky floor mural which transformed one area of a pre-school learning centre, into a sandy beach complete with shells, starfish and a gently rippling tide. In another similar creative flooring project we etched the title of the educational centre into the sand for additional effect.

Printing welcome floor graphics are another way in which schools and education centres can immediately establish themselves and create an uplifting environment. We all know that first impressions count and when parents visit schools, a clinical look can be a turn off. By promoting the ethos of the school through the application of decorative flooring or custom printed flooring to a reception area floor, a meaningful impression is made immediately! The use of colour, content, wording and your school or educational centre’s logo and motto can make a real difference in bringing warmth and vitality to your building.

We work closely with educators to provide them with attractive, visually stimulating and effective floor graphics - printing anything is possible!

In addition to our custom printed, creative flooring we also produce info stations. These were developed after dialogue with several managers who had a need for communicating information to parents, staff and visitors. As a direct result, Creative Continuity came up with an idea that we call an ‘info station’. This is a friendly, figurative design which is both eye-catching and functional. The unit comprises a ‘head’ which features the school or centre's name and a two part ‘body’ which is formed of a planning board or “what's on” board. The bottom section contains a leaflet holder for the collation of literature. The whole structure is supported by ‘legs’ and ‘feet’, wearing boots for visual effect, whilst decorative ‘Hands’ point inwards to the notice board for maximum impact.

We have manufactured several of these info stations for schools and Sure Start centres, in addition to our decorative flooring, in and around the North West. Planning boards allow centres to tell people what's on and happening that day / week / month, at what time and where in the building. Leaflet holders tidy information up into one area. The human-like structures are a funky way to present information, making it accessible and friendly to parents and children.
